Divas take note. These are awesome tips from the one
only Dr. Robert O Young, author of the
pH Miracle series.
Dr. Young offers these tips for staying heart healthy
during the holidays:
* Eat and drink liberal amounts of alkaline green electron
rich foods as outlined in the pH Miracle books.
* Drink at least 3 to 4 quarts or liters of alkaline
water every day.
* Eat and drink till you are satisfied - never till you
are full.
* Stay away from the chips and dip, they are highly
acidic. Go for the guacamole dip with raw veggies.
* Don't go to a party hungry. An hour before the party, have
1 quart of alkaline water or green drink.
* Drink 3 to 4 ounces of distilled or alkaline water with
2 to 3 teaspoons of pHour salts or bicarbonate salts
before eating. This will help buffer any dietary
acidity from the food or drink.
* If you do drink alcohol or eat animal protein you
can buffer the acids from these foods by drinking
3 to 4 ounces of distilled or alkaline water with
2 to 3 teaspoons of pHour salts or bicarbonate salts.
* Do not over-eat or over-drink! If you do, drink
3 to 4 ounces of distilled or alkaline water with
2 to 3 teaspoons of pHour salts or bicarbonate
salts. This will help to prevent the, "I ate too
much and drank too much acid dis-ease."
* Fish is a good choice over pork or turkey -- it's
lean and full of healthy Omega 3 fats that will buffer
dietary and metabolic acids. Stay away from Eggnog and
alcohol if possible. If you do have an Eggnog or
alcoholic drink take the pHour salts as directed above.
* Stay away from the buffet table. Fill your plate
once and step away rather than hanging around,
nibbling.
* Eat slowly and engage in conversation to slow down
the process of eating. It takes your brain about 20
minutes to get the signal that it's full.
* If you take something to the party, modify it to
make it alkaline (refer to the pH Miracle books) so
there is at least one item that is safe to eat.
* Test your morning urine pH daily to make sure that it
is at 7.2 or above. If not, drink 3 to 4 ounces of
distilled or alkaline water with 2 to 3 teaspoons
of pHour salts or bicarbonate salts.
* Remember the 80/20 rule. 80% of your visual
plate should be alkalizing foods and no more
the 20% acidifying foods. For a detail list

* Treat yourself with a sauna or have a lymphatic
massage during the Holiday Season.
* Finally, make sure you exercise for an hour
everyday to move dietary and metabolic acids
out through the pores of the skin. Remember
that the most important benefits of exercise
are realized when you are sweating.
