yes Divas -- it's
day 2 sans coffee. Mind you, I didn't say caffeine free because I am have a cup or two of Chai Green Tee (Yogi Tea brand - so delish) -- I'm not ready to deal with the enormous headaches I typically get when getting off caffeine. So, I'm dashing out to Whole Foods once I've finished this note and I'll be picking up a bottle of vitamin B5 -- I'm told this help immensely in alleviating those dreadful pounding headaches.
And, I'm so lit up about a call I had yesterday with the pH Miracle Living Center in California about paying them a visit to get back on track and learn some new tips and tricks to share with the Detox Diet Divas - you! - details coming soon.
Another intention I have for today is to amp up the alkaline portion of my intake.
Dr. Young suggests the 80/20 rule - with 80 percent purely alkaline and the other 20 percent les alkaline (like brown rice/raw soaked almonds and things like that)...but I must confess I've been dancing around with a 60/40 percent diet ...
so, today it's 70%.
I'll report my results tomorrow and share the soup recipe I use for the day. It's going to by yummy.
