Okay Divas...
We have a lot of catching up to do....
First of all I must
confess, ...
Yes, I had a slip -- last Saturday.
Can you believe it?! Well, I hit a moment of weakness while cleaning out the purse I wanted to take with me to California.
And guess what was in there?... yup, a Starbucks VIA packet.
Dark Roast. Yummm - my fav-O-rite.
I stared at it for quite some time.
And then I rationalized. ... Well, you know I'm going to visit my pH Miracle coach tomorrow and I'm going to get totally on track.
yada yada yada....
The conversation in my mind continued.
And I turned on the teapot -- giddy with glee.
I drank that cup and it tasted...well, it was
okay. Not as good as I thought it would be...
And that's all I had - one measly cup.
The next morning (Sunday) was the day of my big adventure to Valley Center, California to meet my pH Miracle coach, Denise Chamberlain.
No coffee -- none for me thank you ... but I did have a spot of tea in an attempt to ward off a headache.
Well, the headache finally arrived on Monday because....
it was the first full day of
No Caffeine! Yes, the headache was a doozy.
And now it's
day 3 and the headache's gone! YIPEE!
So, I have to tell you what pure joy it was meeting my pH Miracle coach Denise, because she taught me so much. She's the Julia Child of Alkaline cooking -- truly amazing.
Her kitchen was magnificent. Huge, organized with every wonderful gadget you can imagine to make scrumptious alkaline meals.
We had seed pancakes topped with coconut whipped cream - my mouth is watering as I write.
Won tons stuffed with sauteed spinach, garlic, onion, almond cheese and pine nuts
Oh and...did I say her house was divine?
And get this...she lives smack dab right next door to Dr. Robert Young - author of The pH Miracle!
There were Avocado, lemon, and grapefruit trees galore.
It was heavenly to see.
Please stay tuned for another note from me tomorrow.
I want to tell you all about my
pH Miracle tune up with Denise...!okay?
sweet dreams...
Dawn
