Here's the thing: Human beings are 70% water. So water is vital. Yes, vital.
And
guess what? It's said that over 75 percent of Americans are dehydrated.
The average person drinks about 1 liter a day and often times that
includes the acidic liquids like coffee, and sodas. And here ‘s the
kicker. If you don’t drink enough water you’ll get fat! Here’s why:
first of all, dehydration slows the metabolism. Even mild dehydration
slows the metabolism by 3 percent. Secondly, many people confuse the
body’s thirst desire for hunger. And lastly, if you don’t drink enough
water, you’ll RETAIN water, yes, that ghastly…Bloating!
So, did you calculate how much water you should be drinking? Remeber that's one liter for every 30 pounds you weigh.
