On Tuesday we talked about what to get rid of while we're spring cleaning. Now, let's talk about the fun stuff:
what do you put in?! We're
going to load up on foods that are alive, have high water content and
oxygen. These are what our sweet little cells have been wanting for a
very long time. All three of these aspects create what we call
"Alkalizing foods"- and Alkalizing Foods get rid of that nasty over
acidic condition that's been holding fat cells captive. It's time to
free the FAT CELLS!
We'll look at 5 Main Alkalizing categories along with some great choices you can include in your Spring Cleaning Diet.
Vegetables...Cucumbers,
Lettuce, Broccoli, Celery, Spinach, Cauliflower, Asparagus, Bell
Peppers (all should be fresh or very lightly steamed)
Fruit...Grapefruit, Lemons, Limes, Tomato, Avocado
Fats...Flax Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Grape seed Oil
,
Proteins...Tofu,Raw Almonds and Almond Butter (ooh,my favorite), Pumpkin Seeds (raw), fresh wild salmon
Grains...Sprouted grain tortillas (Ezekiel has some great ones) buckwheat, spelt, brown rice, Quinoa
